The 1ET9040BA is the next generation of Purifi EIGENTAKT Class D amplifier technology. Just as the first generation EIGENTAKT amplifiers redefined consumer performance, the 2nd generation EIGENTAKT 1ET9040BA builds upon this proven performance and advances Class D amplifiers to a truly State of the Art offering. Utilizing a Bridge-tied-load and a robust 40A output current, along with up to 1400w of power, the 1ET9040BA can handle virtually all speakers on the consumer market. The 1ET9040BA also boasts an impossibly low SNR of 140dB, so low in fact that measuring it on our Audio Precision analyzer has become an exercise in perfection. Coupled with extremely low distortion (THD), the Purifi 1ET9040BA is truly a new benchmark in performance, not just for Class D amplifiers but for all consumer amplifiers.

With its completely flat frequency response and ultra high-power output, a pair of our Purifi 1ET9040BA's are a top tier choice for those with critical 2ch listening setups that utilize extremely hard to drive speakers, allowing for users to hear the source material as it should be without any added distortion or "coloring" of the sound. The ultra low noise floor (SNR) also positions the 1ET9040BA as a fantastic choice for extremely sensitive speakers that are otherwise prone to noise floor hiss.

Micro Audio SMPS upgrade:
In another partnership with Micro Audio, we are now using their new SMPS1k-SN power supply for the 1ET9040BA monoblock. Compared to the stock monoblock configuration most other competitors use (the Hypex SMPS1200A180), the Micro Audio SMPS upgrade brings with it Active Power Factor Correction (for better efficiency), better thermal management (for longer max continuous power output), and higher power output (from 1200w to 1400w into 2ohm).

High input gain setting matches up with the input gain of the Hypex amplifiers, perfect for those wanting to mix Purifi amplifiers with Hypex amplifiers (such as for a home theater setup).

RCA vs. XLR
While our amplifiers use XLR inputs, it is perfectly fine (and fully supported by Hypex) for customers to use RCA to XLR cables to connect the amplifier to a source that only has RCA outputs. See our FAQ section for more information.
